Who We Are
A New Standard for Somaliland Seafood
Zamaan Seafood is a processing and exporting company based in Somaliland and a subsidiary of Waa-san Fishing. We were established in 2025 to turn a rich wild catch into product that buyers can trust — clean, cold, and consistently graded.
Our plant handles more than three tons a day. Product is frozen and stored at -18°C, then moved through refrigerated logistics to local markets, neighbouring African countries, and the Middle East.

Somaliland’s coastline has long supplied skilled fishers. Zamaan was created to close the gap between that catch and markets that demand documented hygiene, cold-chain control, and on-time delivery.
